Application Engineer III (The Vanguard Group / Malvern, PA) -- Involved in senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases; integrate third party products; translate technical specifications into code for complex new or enhancement projects for internal clients; write programs, develop code, test artifacts, and produce reports; employ software development techniques to ensure tests are implemented in a way that support automation; participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues; explain technical considerations at related meetings, including those with internal clients; perform systems analysis activities; utilize thorough understanding of client business functions and technology needs and broad understanding of company's technologies, tools, and applications, including those that interface with business area and systems; interface with cross functional team members and communicate systems issues at appropriate technical level for each audience. Requires Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic(s) Engineering or closely related IT field and five years of experience in job offered or in IT position(s) including Senior Developer and/or Manager -- Projects and/or Technical Lead. Background in education, training or experience must include Neoxam Security data management tool; AWS -- Cloud Technology; JAVA, Python, SQL, Unix.
