The Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (USDB) invites you to consider an enjoyable and gratifying employment opportunity with our agency.  We are looking for a caring and motivated Vision Aide/Driver to work with our blind/low vision students under the supervision of an Instructor for the Blind/Low Vision at USDB.  This position is located in Provo and travel is required throughout the Provo School District and surrounding areas.Principal Duties:As a Vision Aide/Driver you will:

　　Drive a car or passenger van for transportation of staff.Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws,regulations,and/or agency rules,standards and guidelines,etc.Detects and eliminates or minimizes safety hazards.Inspects vehicle for safety,fuel,oil and water before departure.Prepare teaching materials and tutor individual students under the supervision of the instructorCommunicate the progress of the students to the instructorPerform such duties as may relate to the motivation and achievement of students in academic and skills areasAssist with behavior interventions under the direction of the instructor Provide support in a classroom environment by working directly with teachers and students.Maintain accurate records and logs.Design and/or prepare training/instructional materials,teaching aides,and devices.This a part-time position for nine (9) months (181) days each school year.  Work schedule Monday through Friday,thirty (30) hours per week.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate for this position will possess:
