　　What Success Looks Like In This Job

　　Supervise staff and facilitate the development, implementation, customization, and maintenance of custom and third-party enterprise applications and data systems to support Adams County Government business objectives.

　　Examples of Duties for Success

　　Supervise and perform a variety of complex and technical duties in the design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of software applications and data systems. Supervise the administration of complex, commercial off-the-shelf software applications.

　　Manage projects with little to no supervision while adhering to county standards and procedures.

　　Supervise staff in assisting users with implementation-related tasks, including installation, training, troubleshooting and documentation.

　　Maintain current working knowledge of all assigned applications systems and peripheral technology.

　　Solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on county business. Research and recommend technology to enhance county business processes.

　　Champion innovation. Ability to work under pressure and exacting schedules to complete assigned tasks.

　　Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required.

　　Technical proficiency in programming languages and development, with an emphasis on Microsoft tools and technologies.

　　Thorough understanding of complete application development life cycle. Thorough understanding of structured programming principles, system analysis techniques, system design, industry standards, system implementation, and continuous improvement methodologies. Advanced knowledge of database design and programming using MSSQL (TSQL). Ability to recognize and resolve system related problems, work independently, and make necessary decisions following policies and guidelines. Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.

　　Ability to supervise a team of professionals performing a variety of technology related tasks and projects.

　　Application and programming-related skills:

　　Experience with Azure DevOps, C#, ASP.NET, IIS, VB, PowerApps, Power BI, JavaScript, and MSSQL (TSQL) is required.

　　Experience with OpenText eDocs DM, Kofax Capture and KTA, RealWare, Tyler Eagle, Chameleon, Qmatic, GoAnywhere MFT, BusinessObjects / Crystal Reports, and/or Accela Civic Platform is desirable.

　　More Qualifications for Success

　　Experience: Six (6) years of continuous, related experience, including four (4) years of experience supervising application development professionals.

　　Education and Training: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a related field.

　　License or Certificate: None.

　　Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check.
