Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This role is within the finance sector, providing an engaging work environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and ensuring efficient collection processes.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner
• Maintain and update customer credit records regularly
• Monitor customer credit accounts for any discrepancies or delinquencies
• Initiate actions to collect delinquent payments and reconcile accounts as needed
• Conduct daily follow-up and collection activities on various lines of business
• Prepare and send invoices and statements to customers as required
• Maintain up-to-date customer contact information in our systems
• Participate in monthly regional collection meetings and contribute to the achievement of company goals
• Manage the Accounts Receivable reserve list to ensure all possible balances are collected
• Lead special projects as assigned, adhering to the company's policies and procedures. Requirements • Mastery in customer service and ability to handle client queries effectively.
• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable (AR) and finance.
• Proficiency in handling invoices, purchase orders, and credit procedures.
• Excellent documentation skills, including account reconciliation and expense reporting.
• Comfortable working with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Familiarity with collection processes and buying processes.
• Ability to lead special projects and perform ad hoc financial tasks.
• Proficiency in English language is a must for effective communication.
• Familiarity with "About Time" software and laptop hardware.
• Ability to travel as per job requirements.
• Understanding of company policy and ability to work according to specifications.
• Proficiency in handling financial notes, agreements, and related documentation.
• Strong phone presence and ability to handle telephonic queries.
• Knowledge of credit procedures and reconciliation of accounts.
