  How will you make an impact in this role?

  International Operational Excellence (“IOE”) organization is responsible for supporting our international Issuing and our international Acquiring businesses across 27 markets in ensuring a robust first line of defense, and in playing an active role in supporting the Business meet its growth objectives whilst demonstrating an effective control framework.

  Our organization helps our international businesses manage risk, respond to new regulation, and develop new products whilst creating and nurturing effective partnerships across multiple key stakeholders across the organization.

  Job Responsibilities

  This role will report to the Manager, International Operational Excellence, based in Mexico City. The main responsibility of this position is to support the overall implementation and execution of International OE program for the acquiring business in LACC region market.

  Main responsibilities will be:

  Support the Issues Management process by ensuring appropriate action plans are in place, progress is made against milestones, and controls are enhanced to prevent issue reoccurrence

  Ensure appropriate testing and controls are in place and properly managed to support Process Risk Self-Assessment program

  Support Risk assessment and stakeholders’ alignment for successful implementation of New Products.

  Guide and support business in identifying process deficiencies, controls weaknesses and provide recommendations on solutions to best mitigate them.

  Support robust AXP Audit program management, driving strong business engagement, and prompt accurate responses to validate findings, ensuring any Management Action Plans (MAPs) have achievable and sustainable action plans.

  Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the business teams and critical stakeholders in the market and across the organization.

  Support Marketing Campaign Testing.

  Support Annual Compliance Plan implementation for acquiring business.

  Minimum Qualifications

  Knowledge of Risk Management.

  Broad knowledge of the Acquiring Business operational environment.

  Fluent English is a must.

  Strong control and compliance focus with effective organization abilities & communication skills.
