　　Job Description

　　The Analyst I prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standardanalytical techniques according to scientific and EPA methodology incompliance with Eurofins Environment Testing Quality Assurance programs andstandard operating procedures (SOPs).

　　Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

　　Demonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityApplies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriatePerforms routine lab tasks that provide experience and familiarization withmethods, practices, and programs. These include:

　　Preparation of samples using standard techniques

　　Performing chemical analysis using standard techniquesCalculating dataRecording and reporting data and any unusual test occurrences to thesupervisorPerforming routine instrument maintenance

　　Responsible for performing job functions in compliance with EurofinsEnvironment Testingenvironmental, health and safety and quality assurancestandards

　　Responsible for general housekeeping in work areaAbility to become trained and competent on complex instrumentation includingbut not limited to gas chromatography, gas chromatography/massspectrometry, atomic absorption, ICP, and instrument specific data systems.Works under close supervision using routine and standard methodsAliquots and weighs samplesWashes glasswareConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications

　　1+ years operating a LCMS instrument in a production laboratory requiredBS or BA in chemistry or related field; 3 years laboratory experience maysubstitute for degree.Previous production-oriented work helpful (awareness and ability to meetdeadlines)Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restrictionor sponsorshipAdditional Information

　　Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

　　The compensation range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00 per hourdepending on level of experience and qualifications.
