Please review the job description to make sure this is the right fit for you!Responsibiliti es for Baggage Handler* Ensures proper conveyances are set up to sort and distribute incoming bags.* Reads and verifies the city and flight number for every bag to ensure the correct loading of customer bags.* Organizes and prioritizes baggage load for delivery to the proper aircraft for loading.* Ensures compliance with all TSA, DOT, FAA, and OSHA safety rules, regulations, and applicable laws.* Accepts responsibility for the safety of the scanner and associated equipment. Scans each bag as it arrives at the bag room.* Forwards and receives bags to/from TSA for processing.* Ensures appropriate attention is paid to priority items. Handles customer interaction in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.* Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position.Qualifications* Must be a local (in-state) resident.* High School diploma or GED. Valid In-State Drivers License.* Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
