Overview

　　i3 is seeking an Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Agile Product Owner. The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) Agile Product Owner will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Product Office Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) Agile Engagement (ENG) Development Team.

　　Responsibilities

　　Provide technical and procedural guidance to the Software Development team members.

　　Reviewing System Engineering requirements and other content to ensure material is sufficient to provide to development teams.

　　Serve as a daily contact for other Product Owners and stakeholders and assist in removing any blockers.

　　Support the Product Management team in preparing for Agile events such as PI Planning, System and Solution demos.

　　Work with Army customers to prioritize issues and provide any feedback to the development teams.

　　Define stories and prioritize the team backlogs to streamline the execution of the IBCS program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the program features for the team.

　　Participate in team and PO syncs, team backlog refinement, and Agile Release Train (ART) events of Program Increment (PI) Planning, System and Solution Demos.

　　Support full life cycle of program feature developments, including but not limited to reviewing the feature description documents, defining the acceptance criteria, and supporting integration tests and post deployment analysis.

　　Support integration of third-party software of engagement calculators into IFMC IBCS software products.

　　Support Technical Interface Meetings (TIM) and various working groups.

　　Qualifications

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　The candidate must have experience leading software teams in a large software development environment. Candidate must have strong understanding of air and missile defense concepts.

　　The candidate must:

　　Be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.

　　Be a US citizen.

　　Have a Bachelor’s degree (or advanced degree) from an accredited college (ABET preferred) in engineering, the sciences or mathematics.

　　Have a minimum of 7 years combined Government/DoD experience in performing the essential duties listed above.

　　Other Qualifications:

　　An additional plus is knowledge in IBCS, PATRIOT, IFPC, RIG-360, LTAMDS, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS . JIRA/ Confluence experience is a plus. Working in or knowledge of SAFe Agile principles. The ability to make decisions; enthusiasm; independent critical thinking; and a team attitude are very important. Prior Product Owner experience helpful.

　　Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
