Our growing company is in search for new talent for the role of Agronomy Sales Intern: Summary: The Agronomy Sales Intern will participate in the day to day activities of the Agronomy Department. This includes job shadowing members of the sales team on customer calls and interactions, scouting fields to learn and understand sales and use of proper use of crop protection products, plant food, seed and other services offered at New Vision Co-op. Assist the Agronomy Sales team by building customer relationships that help grow agronomy sales for New Vision Co-op. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Assist the sales team in compiling farmer/customer programs that include soil testing, field mapping, product recommendations, timely and accurate application, field monitoring as needed, record keeping, and follow-up calls. * Assist in collecting soil sample results and assists with analysis. * Prepares reports as requested by the Agronomy Sales Manager * Make deliveries to customers as needed. * Performs other duties as assigned. * Assists New Vision Agronomy Sales staff with product promotion. * Support Agronomy and grain operations as needed.
