Summary This position is located in the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Natural Resources Management Research Unit in Mandan, ND. In this position, you will actively participate in one or more phases of the research process related to plants or livestock by performing a variety of technical duties in a laboratory or field environment. Responsibilities Appropriately handle livestock including goats or cattle. Maintain, calibrate, and modify a variety of equipment including analytical balances, mowing equipment, or spectrophotometers. Keep detailed records of experimental data. Adapt, modify, or develop new techniques or procedures to satisfy the needs of a research project. Safely dispose of chemical and biological waste.
