　　Roles and Responsibilities

　　Involved with all Indirect Tax responsibilities including VAT and WHT process such as tax laws and regulations deep understanding and interpretation, Filings preparation, planning, accounts reconciliation, advisory and tax audit management in META region.

　　Preparing all monthly/ quarterly/ annually tax filings ensuring their completeness and keep their related deadlines.

　　Handling indirect tax payments process from creating the internal payment requests to receiving and archiving the proof of payment.

　　Preparing and presenting the tax memos and reports to the management.

　　Maintain effective control procedures over the indirect tax wing to wing process.; working continuously on process improvement in the company’s tax systems and tools.

　　Handling the tax audit process with the tax authorities including preparation of the needed data and documentation, effective communication, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best results.

　　Reconciling the indirect tax accounts and performing the needed journal entries to maintain their relevance and reliability.

　　Providing the business team with the needed tax advisory.

　　Monitoring the tax laws and regulation changes in the region and manage the related update in the company’s systems and ERPs.

　　Handling the relationship with the tax consultants in the region including reviewing the engagement letters and handling the PO creation process.

　　Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

　　Jobs at this level function with some autonomy but are subject to functional practices and precedents or are covered by well-defined policies or review of end results. The job allows modification of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.).

　　Uses some judgment and can propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated, day-to-day problems. Has ability to prioritize information for data analysis. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.

　　Required Qualifications

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

　　From +2 years of experience in the tax field in a multinational company and/or big 4 firm.

　　Fluent written and spoken French.

　　Fluent written and spoken English.

　　Strong accounting, analytical and presentation skills.

　　Strong skills in SAP, Oracle and Microsoft office.
