About Agricultural Equipment Operators

  Need 3 full time, temporary, seasonal Agricultural Equipment Operators to work in Spring Valley, MN. From: 03/01/2024 to 12/15/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon.-Sat. 8 hrs./day As required in Minnesota, all work performed in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. Must Apply By: 07/24/2024 NOTE: Due to system rules, this job order will close before the recruitment period elapses on 07/24/2024, however a new job order will be created and posted for the remainder of the recruitment period. JOB DESCRIPTION: Performs duties like: drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil; plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery. Drive grain trucks to transport crops to elevator or storage area. Equipment: Semi-trucks and grain trailers, tractors with tilling and harvesting equipment. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 lbs. Minimum of (3) months experience required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post-hire, Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance; employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts. Required tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
