Need 2 full time, temporary, seasonal Ag Equipment Operators to work in Little Falls, MN. From 02/17/2024 to 12/01/2024. Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hrs./day, 8:00am-5:00pm. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay. JOB DUTIES: Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops. Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor. Till soil, plant and cultivate grain. Tow harvesting equipment. Drive and operate self-propelled combine. Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions. Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers. Shop work and maintenance of equipment used on farm and crop equipment, skid loaders, pumps, motors. Crops: Alfalfa, Corn JOB REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 3 months experience. Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Extensive sitting or walking. Employer requires drug screen post-hire at employer's expense due to the presence of children on the farm and expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. No minimum education required. EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
