The Advisor and Practice Tools Enablement team works to bridge the gap between advisor practices and the tools available to drive sales, increase Advice engagement, improve efficiencies, and save the practice time. Our goal is to partner and understand the practice needs, to more effectively communicate changes, drive Advice tools engagement, and help practices adopt the technology. We also play a critical role by staying in touch with technology roadmaps to help prioritize efforts, offer field feedback (voice of field) and be a resource.
Thrivent’s Advisor & Practice Tools Enablement Specialist will collaborate with the distribution organization by increasing Salesforce and Advice tools adoption with the field and all COE’s. They will support the Tools Enablement team by translating advice and practice management capabilities into easily digestible campaigns and administer team priorities.
This role will work closely with other COEs and product teams to implement new projects and capabilities to ensure Advice and practice management processes are embedded throughout.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Salesforce and tools expertise to the Advisor and Leader Capacity Growth and Development COE, including delivery of Advice framework and training to Financial Advisors and leaders
Create SOPs procedures and documentation and ensure the processes are easy for the advisor and support teams to implement
Participate in projects related to Salesforce.com and Advice Tools enablement and implementation
Partner with the Advisor & Leader Capacity Growth and Development COE to develop and deliver educational opportunities for implementation of advice and practice management tools and capabilities to ensure all distribution stakeholders are comfortable utilizing tools and resources
Represent advisor and practice business requirements for the Product teams – voice of the customer
Maintains quality of Salesforce reports and dashboards by monitoring usage data and deleting underused versions
Create and manage Salesforce dashboards to provide actionable analytics
Provide advisor and practice support consultation for basic salesforce needs
Utilize project management skills to keep projects on target for completion
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or similar field
4+ years of Financial Services experience, with demonstrated ability to work across different Advisor groups and regional leaders
2+ years of operational experience in a matrixed, cross-functional environment that required analysis of industry and/or business data
Subject matter expertise in financial planning and the advisory working model
Proven ability to communicate up and down the chain of command across a diverse group of stakeholders
Passionate about the value of providing advice to clients, with an in-depth knowledge of insurance products, asset/wealth management, fee-based planning, mutual funds and securities
Entrepreneurial ability to cut through the noise to execute; comfortable with ambiguity
Ability to synthesize and balance together multiple (sometime conflicting) stakeholder opinions into a common point of view
Experience with key advice and practice management systems such as Salesforce.com and other technologies. Ability to quickly grasp emerging or new technologies and apply them to specific businesses at Thrivent.
Preferred:
Alignment with Thrivent’s leadership competencies
Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 tools, especially Excel a bonus
Experience with using the Digital Adoption Platform, WalkMe a bonus
Knowledge of Salesforce as used as a reporting tool and has experience using filters to extract data
