Job Overview
The Advanced Modality Student Technologist working under the supervision of anAdvanced Modality Technologist, performs pediatric diagnostic imagingprocedures according to defined standards and requirements for high qualityimaging. Provides patient care while adhering to all quality and safetystandards; and performs administrative duties including but not limited toscheduling appointments, patient instructions, and maintenance of records.This position is responsible for communicating regularly with patients,families, and all hospital and community caregivers while followingdepartment expectations for interactions with patients and families. Thisposition is required to be on call depending on the position's location.

Qualifications
EDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited radiography program required.EXPERIENCE: One (1) year of advanced modality experience required.CERTIFICATION(S):
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Registered RadiologicTechnologist ARRT(R) and registry any one (1) of the followingadvanced modalities:Registered Computed Tomography Technologist ARRT(CT)Registered Magnetic Resonance Technologist ARRT(MR)Vascular Interventional Radiography ARRT(VI)American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providersrequired.This position may require a BLS certification from the American HeartAssociation.
