Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an AdvancedScheduler to join our team. The successful applicant will provide full-timededicated support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Director, SpaceSystems (MDA/SS), located at Schriever SFB, CO (Missile DefenseIntegration Operations Center (MDIOC)).
You will be supporting several innovative, highly technical, andfast-paced space sensor developmental programs including the Hypersonic andBallistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS) and Spacebased Kill Assessment(SKA) programs. These critical programs will procure, test, anddeliver national space assets to the warfighting Combatant Commands.
Responsibilities:Position Overview
The successful candidate will serve as an Advanced Scheduler supporting theMissile Defense Agency Space Systems (MDA/SS) Directorate in ColoradoSprings, CO. The candidate will support Directorate-wide program schedulingand integration efforts. Duties and Responsibilities include:
Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support thedevelopment of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans,processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding;Experience with developing Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals,Request forProposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract Data Requirement ListsBuild and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) across all SS programsMaintain program schedules in MDA's Project ServerPerform schedule health and status updatesConduct schedule merges and analyses of Prime IMS'sDevelop and track primary, secondary, and tertiary critical paths for IMSsSupport Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)Build and maintain schedule charts for program reviews and executionBuild leadership briefs and maintain schedule baselines for variousacquisition eventsParticipate in the Missile Defense System Integration Schedule Working Group(MISWG)Track and report on schedule metrics for the PMsMaintain desktop schedules
Qualifications
Qualifications:Qualifications a d Education RequirementsDemonstrated experience supporting and interacting on a daily basis with highlevel DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sittingon-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver productssuccessfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)Demonstrated capability to develop reports, information papers, decisionpapers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholderleadershipMinimum of 5-8 years' experience in scheduling and project integration tasksCritical path analysis and action item resolutionBasic understanding of EVMS processesAdvanced understanding of defense programs and weapon system componentsStrong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environmentAdvanced knowledge of MS Project, MS PowerPoint, Milestone Pro, and MS ExcelCurrent Secret Security Clearance Required and eligible for TS/SCIEducation: BA/BS in Business Administration or related field desired
