Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking an AcquisitionSupport Analyst to join our team. You will provide full-time on-sitededicated support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Space Systems(MDA/SS), located at Schriever SFB, CO (Missile DefenseIntegration Operations Center (MDIOC).
You will be supporting several innovative, highly technical, andfast-paced space sensor developmental programs including the Hypersonic andBallistic Tracking Space Sensor (HBTSS) and Spacebased Kill Assessment(SKA). These critical programs will procure, test, and delivernational space assets to the warfighting Combatant Commands.
Specific Skills Required:
Working knowledge of applicable DoD acquisition directives to support thedevelopment of Missile Defense System (MDS) acquisition policy, plans,processes, procedures, and guidance for MDS development and fielding;Experience with developing Acquisition Plans, Justification and Approvals,Request for Proposal packages, Statements of Work, and Contract DataRequirement ListsInterpret MDA acquisition guidance to support acquisition planning and MDSprogram integration;Support the development of acquisition implementing/operatinginstructions, directives, plans and policies;Expertise in strategic planning, acquisition strategy development, anddevelopment of key acquisition documentation to support acquisition strategyapproval and executionPrepare planning documents to coordinate integrated acquisition strategieswithin the MDS and OGA partnersPrepare MDS acquisition documentation and executive-level decision papersDemonstrated experience supporting and interacting on a daily basis with highlevel DoD Officials (O-6 and above, GS-15/NH-4 equivalent), sittingon-site with the DoD Program Office and ability to deliver productssuccessfully in a fast paced environment (on demand)Prepare and staff Directorate of Acquisitions actions for functional andtechnical review and comment; perform internal and external Agencycoordination and reportingDemonstrated capability to develo reports, information papers, decisionpapers, and briefings for senior leadership and external stakeholderleadershipExperience in cost, schedule and performance management for a space basedprogram and/or a DoD systemPossess knowledge of acquisition processes/activities required to supportthe evaluation of contract performance against the program baselines;Experience translating technical requirements into contract requirementsCapable of working independently or leading cross-functional teams toresearch, track, and complete ad hoc tasks associated with the PWSOutstanding written and oral communication skills are essential;Demonstrated ability to organize and execute meeting logistics and representthe Directorate at higher-level meetings as requiredAbility to track, coordinate, and manage information requests from bothinternal and external agenciesAbility to collaborate and both troubleshoot problems and support the needs ofthe
