Join our Team Today!JOB SUMMARY: The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Managerin the daily operations, developing and leading a professional retailassociate team to ensure achievement of operational goals and 100%customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager is expected to workthe opposite shifts of the Store Manger which is typically afternoon /evening shift as well as Sundays. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Trains storepersonnel by reviewing and revising orientation to new products *Evaluates competition by visiting competing stores; gatheringinformation such as style, quality and pricing of competitivemerchandise. * Purchases inventory by researching emerging products,anticipate buyer interest, negotiate volume price breaks; placing andexpediting orders and verifying orders and receipts * Attractscustomers by originating displays following display suggestions fromStore Manager negotiate price breaks and produce merchandise displays inwindows, showcases and on sales floor * Promotes sales by demonstratingmerchandise and products to customers- Helps customers by providinginformation, answering questions, obtaining merchandise requests,completing payment transaction and prepare merchandise for sale *Maintains a safe and clean store environment by developing andpublishing evacuation routes, determine and document locations ofpotentially dangerous materials and chemicals * Maintains inventory bychecking merchandise to determine inventory levels and anticipatecustomer demand * Helps maintain brand image to Corporate specs * Mayserve as Store Manager when Store Manager is not on company ground *May duplicate services as a cashier or as Kitchen help Full-Timew/Benefits and BONUS!
