To provide quality instruction for post-secondary/adult Career Training Courses. Seeking content specialists interested in teaching courses in construction, manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare.

　　AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

　　Prepare syllabus and daily lesson plans and hands-on projects for the practical application of the curriculum.

　　Maintain accurate records of attendance and student progress.

　　Provide individual and group instruction in the implementation of the curriculum.

　　Prepare pre/post-tests and performance evaluations for students at the completion of each unit.

　　Order student textbooks, supplies, materials, and equipment necessary for the implementation for the job training program.

　　Effective supervision of students.

　　Maintain and modify curriculum to remain current and up to date.

　　Maintain all safety standards as mandated by OSHA and the BOCES 2 organization.

　　Monitor employment tracking of students.

　　Consistent and effective program recruitment.

　　Job Qualifications

　　Experience: 2-5 years current experience working in industry taught; Strong knowledge of the content area; Teaching experience preferred but not necessarily required

　　Other: Must be able to use computers for attendance, grade management, email, and other applications necessary to fulfill the requirement of the position.
