Kforce has a client that is seeking a Adobe Target - Lead Java API Engineer in Beaverton, OR.Key Tasks:
Adobe Target - Lead Java API Engineer will work in a high-collaboration coding environment - coding reviews, code shares
Utilize async to handle backend actions
Pulling in data from event-based streaming, using tools like SNS, SQS, etc.
Bachelor/Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
7 years of software development experience, 3 years of Java Development including practical experience with Java 11 functional programming
Practical experience with mentoring engineers
Experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, etc.)
Experience in microservice architecture and RESTful services
Experience with continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests
AWS - must have experience with AWS managing their own work and deployments
Web Plug-in experience - this has become a big differentiator
Hands-on experience in performing technical code reviews
Prior experience in designing and implementing high-scale web applications
Solid understanding of Scrum and agile practices
Understanding of high-scale distributed services/distributed multiregional services and how to manage; Understanding of what that means and how to manage it
API Gateway, Lambdas, SQS, SNS, EC2, Dynamo DB, Cloud Formation
CI/CD Scrum
GitHub, Jira, Confluence
Elasticsearch
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills optimally connect with both business and technical teams
Continuous delivery experience preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
