　　Job Summary

　　The computer technician helps set up and maintain the computer system. They provide computer and telephone support to users. They also help prevent virus intrusions, ensure optimal use of the network and guarantee the security of company data.

　　This person is proactive, autonomous and resourceful. They contribute to maintaining a stable network and user satisfaction. The IT technician plays an active role in the quality of service demanded by users and management. The IT technician proposes and researches new solutions and coordinates his or her efforts with Acuity's IT team.

　　Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

　　User support and incident resolution

　　Prepares users' hardware and software configurations.

　　• Documents customer requests, reported incidents and technical procedures via the ticketing system.

　　• Provides technical support for audiovisual and IP telephony systems.

　　• Provides solutions to technical problems encountered.

　　• Carry out any other related tasks that may contribute to customer satisfaction.

　　• Network management/Computer park

　　• Assists network administrator with special projects.

　　• Monitors system logs and performance indicators: daily reports, server status, monitoring, maintenance and updates.

　　• Establishes requirements, prepares orders and manages receipt of materials.

　　• Administers inventory management and related documentation.

　　Skills and Minimum Experience Required

　　Essentials

　　• Degree in computer science

　　• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position - Computer technician

　　• French and English read, written and spoken

　　• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office365 environments

　　• Knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)

　　• Knowledge of multi-factor authentication (MFA)
