Summary This position is a fully remote approved position. You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Human Resources Division, Human Resource Office, as a a senior Classification Specialist and Classification Program Manager for the command located in the Staffing & Classification Branch in the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport Human Resources Office (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA). Responsibilities You will evaluate position management in assigned organizations You will be responsible for mentoring and training other HR specialists. You will develop new interpretations and procedures which extend existing procedures and may result in precedents for others to follow. You will plan, conduct and complete classification studies and projects in assigned program areas. You will apply classification standards and supplemental guidance to determine title, series and grade. You will perform unusually difficult assignments under general administrative direction with wide latitude for the exercise of independent judgment. You will provide advice and assistance with classification appeal procedures, and ensures that appeal packages comply with DON/OPM requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-0201-04 (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading position classification and advisory services, to ensure accurate workforce structuring and compliance with policy standards for enhanced organizational efficiency.
