  Compensation: $19-$22/hr depending on experience with opportunity for overtime. 

  Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

  OVERVIEW

  The Administrative Assistant (Travel Department)  will support the Travel Team with managing and processing all travel-related documentation, including payments, credit card reconciliation, billing arrangements, contract negotiations, and coordinating activities. They will also be responsible for helping to optimize travel operations and preparing reports. This position can require nights and weekends depending on travel arrangement needs and unexpected situations that may arise.

  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.

  Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

  Basic understanding of geography.

  3-5 years of administrative experience.

  Proficient MS Office products understanding and utilization: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.

  Be able to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines.

  Must be adaptable and coachable. 

  Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors of direct travel. 

  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  Maintain positive relationships with vendors of direct travel, such as car rentals, hotels, and airlines.

  Negotiating preferred rates with vendors of direct travel.

  Managing and processing all travel-related documentation, including payments, itineraries, and visas.

  Assist Travel Manager with any travel-related issues that may arise.

  Assist Travel Manager Researching travel deals and evaluating prices and services.

  Creating, optimizing, and monitoring corporate travel policies.

  Preparing travel budget reports.

  Analyzing and preparing reports on travel spend.
