Work involves establishing program goals and objectives; developing program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations Plans, assigns, and supervises the work of others. Responsible for resolving complex issues related to regulatory programs and providing guidance to assigned staff, the public, and law enforcement. Oversees the day-to-day operational activities of employees providing services for one or more regulatory programs.2. Oversees the preparation of program management and productivity reports and studies3. Monitors the conduct of special investigations, program analyses, and research studies4. Plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates programs.5. Prepares and evaluates program budget requests.6. Interprets guidelines, regulatory requirements, contractual agreements, and pertinent laws to provide guidance.7. Provides guidance to employees in handling difficult or complex problems in assigned program area.8. Establishes program goals and objective; develops and approves schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving goals; and oversees programevaluation activities.9. Develops and implements program guidelines, procedures, policies, rules, and regulations and monitors compliance with policies and procedures.10. Develops and implements techniques and metrics for evaluating programs and monitoring progress.11. Provides technical assistance in a program area12. Plans, assigns, and supervises the work flows of others to accomplish objectives and to ensure quality work is completed in compliance with Stateand Federal laws.13. May prepare and conduct seminars and presentations regarding assigned program area for citizens, clients, staff, management, or electedofficials.14. Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications: GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:Education - Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a major in Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration or related field.Experience Minimum of two (2) or more years of progressively responsible work experience with complex administrative duties with a preferred (1) year of supe visory experience.Substitution Note: Additional work experience of the type describe or other related education may be substituted for one another on a year for year basis.
