Administrative Assistant
Adecco is assisting in the search for an organized, temporary Administrative Assistant position in Wilmington, NC. In this position, you will be responsible for handling phone calls, emails, basic archiving/filing, data entry, routine clerical, administrative functions, and maintaining paper and electronic files. This is a 1st shift opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8am-5:00pm. Pay at $18 an hr. Some Evenings and weekends may be required. 30-40 hours per week.
Responsibilities for this position include:
Organizing and scheduling assignments of election officials to shifts at 4 early voting sites and 41 polling places· Making phone calls, responding to voicemail messages, and sending emails on behalf of the Program Coordinator
· Assisting with data entry tasks related to using election official management software
· Reviewing electronic files using the NCSBE software, under the guidance of elections staff
· Assisting with the assembly of paper documentation and manuals for distribution
Qualified candidates need strong administrative skills and social skills, including time management, computer proficiency, communication, and great attention to detail.
Qualifications for this Staff Assistant position include:
High School Diploma-Minimum 1-year prior receptionist/administrative assistant experience
-Self-motivated
Good customer service skill-Excellent attendance record
