  Department Geography & Sustainability Studies

  Position Summary

  SUNY Geneseo seeks applicants for anticipated part-time temporary adjunct faculty openings. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis and applicants will be contacted as needed.

  Teach undergraduate courses in Geography. Possible courses include:

  GEOG 102: Human Geography

  GEOG 111/112: Physical Geography (with lab)

  GEOG 123: The Developing World

  ENVR 124: Environmental Issues

  Upper level courses are also available. Check the online Undergraduate Bulletin for a complete listing of courses offered by the department.

  Required Qualifications

  Required Qualifications:

  Master’s degree or higher in Geography or related field.

  Must demonstrate a commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive teaching environment.

  Preferred Qualifications

  Teaching experience in Geography at the undergraduate level.
