DescriptionPosition SummaryThis role will oversee stated projects related to the overall quality goals of the organization and will manage conflict between projects. Will work with multiple teams and stakeholders throughout the system to achieve project success and traceability of the project goals.Essential FunctionsQuality/Risk/Patient Safety plan and develops a work plan related to system performance improvement activities.Collaborates with entity Quality Managers to develop and communicate an annual work plan for quality and performance improvement.Monitors assigned hospital's compliance with work plan relative to quality and performance improvement.Ensures hospital processes exist for identification and management of system performance improvement priorities.Leads performance improvement activities related to organizational goals and performance opportunities.Utilizes performance improvement tools and methodologies as part of overall project management initiative.Develop and oversee an educational program that expands staff knowledge on aforementioned performance improvement tools.Collaborate with other Principal Project Managers.Required For All JobsPerforms other duties as assigned.Complies with all policies and standards.For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
