DescriptionAcute Registered NurseThe Acute Registered Nurse must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis and hospital emergency procedures and the knowledge, skills, and judgement necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the acute care setting. This person will be responsible for delivering apheresis and pediatric treatments as applicable. This position exercises a knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. This individual cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including implementing job-appropriate judgement. Prior acute experience preferred but not required. Dialysis experience preferred. Applicant must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
