Hourly Pay Range (Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum):
$71.822 - $92.673 - $113.525
The stated pay scale reflects the range that Sharp reasonably expects to pay for this position. The actual pay rate and pay grade for this position will be dependent on a variety of factors, including an applicant’s years of experience, unique skills and abilities, education, alignment with similar internal candidates, marketplace factors, other requirements for the position, and employer business practices.
What You Will Do
This CNS will work closely with the Director of Regulatory; Infection Preventionists , Wound-Ostomy and Vascular Access Teams. The candidate will also assist in the coordination of the continuous readiness review processes of accreditation and licensing, proactive risk management, ensuring a strategy and vision for these services that support the overall Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center Campus and Sharp HealthCare Strategic Plans. Knowledge of accreditation standards, and federal, state and local regulations, their interpretations and impact on organizations is encouraged.
Masters or doctoral prepared nurse with Clinical Nurse Specialist Certificate who applies clinical expertise in evidence-based nursing practice within three spheres of influence; 1) patient/client, 2) nurses/nursing practice, and 3) organization/system in the following roles: clinical expert, educator, researcher, consultant and leader. Recommends and set the standard for professional nursing practice, establishes appropriate patient care measures, and evaluates outcomes.
In addition to providing oversight for the infection prevention processes, the IP CNS will work closely with the Director of Regulatory; and Wound and Vascular Access Teams. The candidate will also assist in the coordination of the continuous readiness review processes of accreditation and licensing, proactive risk management, ensuring a strategy and vision for these services that support the overall Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center Campus and Sharp HealthCare Strategic Plans. Required Qualifications
Master's Degree or doctoral prepared nurse.
3 Years recent clinical experience.
