The Actuarial Software Engineering team atNorthwestern Mutual is responsible for creating and improving systemsthat ensure the company can meet its financial promises to itscustomers, employees, and field representatives. Theseroutines produce the rates and values used across the enterprise toissue and administer risk products. The Rates and Values team, withinthe actuarial systems space, plays a crucial role in ensuring this greatcompany continues to do great things for its policyowners. Your purposewill be clear due to close partnership with clients and direct lines tobusiness outcomes. To excel in this role, you need to be passionateabout software craftmanship and eager to understand the insurancebusiness. A competence in math, a computer sciencebackground, innovative mindset, and strong organizational and technicalskills would elevate this role.
