Description

　　Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist. Candidates who are looking for great career growth potential and a great benefits package will be interested in joining this quickly growing accounting team. Entering, posting, and reconciling batches, researching and resolving customer A/R issues, preparing aging report, placing billing and collection calls, maintaining cash receipts journal, updating, and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L will be among the Accounts Receivable Specialist duties. Candidates who are self-starters and who have high attention to detail will be the best fit for this Accounts Receivable Clerk position, since they will handle 200+ invoices a week. This is a long-term contract / temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Orlando, Florida area.

　　How you will make an impact

　　Present information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders

　　Support, communicate, and reinforce the mission, values and culture of the organization

　　Verify documents and codes

　　Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

　　Carry out an assortment of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

　　Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

　　Process payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

　　Assist in setting up payment plans; contact clients to help resolve payment issues

　　Requirements - Knowledgeable of ERP systems

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired

　　Strong attention to detail

　　2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

　　Knowledge of billing

　　Deep understanding of cash applications

　　Bank reconciliations experience

　　Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
