　　Sr Risk Associate

　　Capital One is seeking an extremely detail-oriented candidate with a high level of ownership with a proactive and process improvement mindset, who can identify risks and find solutions. As a Senior Risk Associate on Capital One’s C&E Analytics & Innovation team, you will apply your analytical, risk management, data management, and process management skills to support the adoption of process enhancements and compliance with corporate risk management practices. This individual will exemplify risk management expertise and technical skills in order to make recommendations and provide guidance to stakeholders so they can understand and utilize all tools available to them; will also pull data together into a meaningful format and report assessment results via presentations.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Identify opportunities to streamline, automate and enhance our practices, processes and controls

　　Influence stakeholders to adopt enhancements

　　Design, test, and facilitate implementation of enhancements identified

　　Perform analysis on risk information to gain risk insights, take insights backed by data to help the business understand implications and determine next steps

　　Build successful relationships with stakeholders and team members to understand impact of risk on critical business processes

　　Excellent work prioritization skills to proactively drive the right priorities

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

　　At least two years of experience in data management, risk management, or project management

　　At least two years of experience using SQL

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's Degree

　　3+ years of experience in data management, risk management, or project management

　　Sigma Six or Business Process Management Certification

　　Experience using AWS, Tableau, or Python
