Description

Robert Half is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounts receivables, excellent communication skills, and an aptitude for accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the aging report, focusing on prompt collections of past due invoices and overall reduction of company debt.

Accept and process payments over the phone, providing outstanding customer service throughout the entire process.

Accurately apply all payments, ensuring transparency and smooth operation.

Responsible for managing, preparing, and issuing lien waivers as required in order to resolve payment discrepancies.

Perform daily billing and invoicing tasks in an accurate and time-efficient manner, addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

Prior experience in accounts receivable, accounting, or related roles required.

Degree in Accounting or a related field preferred, but not required.

Proficiency using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Proven customer service skills with an ability to handle financial discussions.

Solid understanding of billing and invoicing procedures.

Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
