Your Role: What you'll be doingUnited Launch Alliance (ULA) seeks a skilled Sr. Supply Chain SubcontractManagement Specialist to support the Propulsion Systems and Structures team atULA Corporate Headquarters in Centennial, CO.The Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist leads teams overseeingmajor subcontractors or major, critical subcontracted systems or mayintegrate the efforts of several subcontractors at a project or program level.The Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist directs and manages allcost, schedule, and technical performance requirements levied on thesubcontractor or the product family, ensuring performance in compliance withall technical requirements and contract milestones.The Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist assists in developmentof subcontract specifications, work statements, and other technicalrequirements documents.The Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management serves as a focal point for thesubcontractor.As required, the Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist briefsULA executive management and customers regarding subcontract status and issuesaffecting subcontract performance or cost and conducts and/or supportsprogram reviews with the subcontractor and ULA / Customer program offices.The Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist is responsible for anddirects all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case formake/buy decisions through requests for proposals, subcontract managementplans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability; makes decisionsaffecting the performance of the subcontractor; establishes milestoneobjectives and manages performance to committed schedules and contractualspecifications; and, assists in the development of major/complexsubcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions forthe procurement of specialized components and services.The primary role of a ULA Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialistwithin the Propulsion Systems and Structures team is to facilitate purchasingactivities for the acquisition of flight hardware required by the enterprisewith a focus on integrated Supply Chain strategy and strategic sourcinganalysis.Successful execution of the Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialistresponsibilities as a member of the high-performing Propulsion Systems andStructures team requires working collaboratively within the team to developand clearly communicate flight hardware requirements and executionexpectations to suppliers, optimizing value for ULA.The Propulsion andStructures team Sr. Supply Chain Subcontract Management Specialist will:Lead the efforts of the team in translating demand forecasts into a strategicsourcing and procurement plan for a wide range of products and servicesEnsure compliance with ULA Supply Chain Command Media, Federal Acquisitio Regulations (FAR), and standard ULA business processes.Partner with cross-functional teammates to develop flight hardwarerequirements aligned with the ULA business imperatives for flow-down tosuppliers and prospective suppliersPossess advanced price analysis, proposal evaluation, and negotiationskills aimed at reducing the total cost of ownership to ULA for flighthardware and related services.Demonstrate and fully utilize well-developed project management skillsAnalyze prospective procurements to develop strategies that will secure thebest value for ULA for flight hardware and related servicesIdentify and resolve supply chain constraints, working with internalstakeholders and suppliers to develop executable, cost-effective solutionsAct as a liaison between the supplier and ULADevelop, measure, analyze, review, and report key process metricsIdentify action items, organize resources to address action items, andfollow up on all supplier-facing issues
