Description

　　Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Receivable (A/R) Specialist. There is a job opening at this quickly growing accounting team for someone interested in great career growth potential and a great benefits package. On an average day, the Accounts Receivable Specialist will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. Candidates who are self-starters and who have high attention to detail will be the best fit for this Accounts Receivable Specialist position, since they will handle 200+ invoices a week. This is a long-term contract / temporary to hire Accounts Receivable Specialist position and is based in the Saint Paul, Minnesota area.

　　Your responsibilities in this role

　　Be an ambassador of the mission, values, and culture of the organization

　　Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders

　　Process payments and compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

　　Help resolve payment issues by contacting clients, assist in setting up payment plans

　　Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

　　Test documents and codes

　　Reconcile bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in various ledgers

　　Carry out an assortment of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

　　Requirements

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired

　　Excellent attention to detail

　　Reliable skills in Microsoft Office with excellent Excel skills

　　Quality experience with account reconciliation

　　Well-founded grasp of Concur

　　Foundational knowledge in Navision

　　Wide ranging experience with bank reconciliations

　　1+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
