Description

　　Robert Half is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a firm in South Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist with a strong background in accounting and a passion for accuracy and efficiency.

　　Responsibilities

　　Process accounts payable transactions, including verifying, coding, and entering invoices into the system.

　　Ensure all invoices are properly approved and supported by appropriate documentation.

　　Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues.

　　Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire transfers.

　　Monitor and maintain vendor accounts, ensuring accurate and up to date information.

　　Collaborate with internal departments to address any invoice or payment-related inquiries.

　　Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support for audits.

　　Maintain organized and accurate records of all account payable transactions.

　　Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices.

　　Requirements

　　Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

　　2+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable

　　Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles

　　Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must)

　　Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy.

　　Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

　　Effective communication and interpersonal skills

　　Prior experience with ERP systems is a plus.

　　Hours are: 7:30pm – 4:30pm; Monday through Friday
