　　Jenny Bour with Robert Half is working with a growing company that is looking to add an Accounts Receivable Clerk to their team! Accounts Receivable (A/R) professionals looking to grow with a thriving company will be interested in this position. The Accounts Receivable Clerk role will be based in the Buffalo, New York region and is a permanent employment opportunity. This position is for candidates who can enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging reports, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, and update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Process payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP

　　Enter and balance financial data in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts

　　Validate documents and codes

　　Communicate with clients to settle payment issues and help create a payment plan

　　Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures

　　Reply to information requests from stake holders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department

　　Maintain, relate, and promote the mission, values and culture of the organization

　　Requirements

　　Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

　　Excellent attention to detail

　　Current and relevant ERP system experience

　　Experience with B2B collections

　　Analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
