Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Sarasota, Florida. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be instrumental in maintaining customer credit records, processing applications, and resolving customer inquiries, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications ensuring accuracy

• Maintain and update customer credit records

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve them in a timely manner

• Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions as required

• Collaborate with the warehouse team and managing director for necessary shipping and invoice information

• Analyze and correct any invoice discrepancies

• Ensure accurate application of cash and correct misapplied cash where necessary

• Liaise with customers for remittances when they make payments

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Utilize NetSuite for various tasks and operations

• Conduct research to understand debits versus credits in Accounts Receivable

• Handle a high volume of invoices and collections

Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable or similar role within the healthcare, hospitals, or social assistance industries.

• Proficient in account reconciliation and cash applications.

• Demonstrable experience with accounts receivable (AR) is necessary.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for data processing and analysis.

• Experience with NetSuite for managing financial and accounting functions is essential.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or inaccuracies in financial data.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Ability to work independently, show initiative, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
