  As a Data Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and design of our data products. You will be responsible for standardizing and facilitating the design process, ensuring the reusability, scalability, and user-centricity of data products.

  Your key responsibilities:

  • Design Thinking and Workshop Facilitation:

  Lead and facilitate design thinking workshops to gather insights and requirements from cross-functional teams, including domain experts, data scientists, engineers, and management collecting insights and shaping strategies to deliver value with data products and services.

  Utilize persona and journey mapping methodologies to understand user needs and pain points.

  • User-Centric Design:

  Advocate for a user-centric design approach in the development of data products.

  Collaborate with Data Product Managers to ensure that designs align with user expectations and business goals.

  • Reusability and Scalability:

  Design solutions that are reusable and scalable across different data domains.

  Work closely with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of design implementations.

  • Prototyping and Wireframing:

  Create interactive prototypes and wireframes to visualize design concepts.

  Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing results.

  • Innovation and Market Analysis:

  Drive innovation in data product design by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies.

  Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to inform and inspire innovative design solutions.

  • Data-Driven Design:

  Leverage user data and analytics to inform evidence-based design decisions.

  Translate insights from user data into actionable design elements, validating and refining user experiences.

  • Based on your experience we will offer you a base salary of € 66505 to o € 95007 per year (including holiday allowance and 13th month) and extra benefits, such as 25 holiday days, a bonus, the option to buy more holiday days with a 6% my choice budget and much more.

  You bring:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field

  • Min. 5-year work experience as designer for data products and services

  • Technical skills: conducting on-line workshops, using white-board collaborative applications, graphic design.

  • Soft skills: stakeholder management, people skills to engage with users (communication, active listening, empathy), team player attitude.

  • Fluency in English
