Job Description:
Actuarial Analyst I - The Auto Club GroupWhat you will do:Depending on team assignment, responsible for learning and utilizing variousactuarial techniques and procedures, to include but not limited to:
development of pricing for current and/or new property/casualty insurancecoverage and products
executing the scheduled rate reviews and indications to ensure rates areadequate, not excessive or unfairly discriminatory and internally consistentwith experience
analyzing and preparing competitive product and rate comparison reports
formulating and interpreting ratemaking models using available tools
analyzing data, developing material and preparing appropriate communication
assist with classification analysis for existing and future products
support state filings and respond to inquiries from DOIs
Manipulate data for actuarial review using standard software packages. Beginto apply actuarial methods and principals to obtain indications, completeprojects, analyze results and make recommendations. Research suitable trendindications for analysis. Analyze competitor's rate structures and coverage.Prepare reports, proposals, system documents, filing support anddocumentation files. Provide support to projects as required.How you will benefit:Actuarial Analyst I's will earn a competitive salary of $55,000 to$75,000 annually with annual bonus potential based on performance.

knowledge of insurance industry terminology and concepts.
Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify)Education
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or a related field.
Maintain eligibility in the Actuarial Professional Development Programfollowing department guidelines, including but not limited to successfulcompletion of one or more actuarial examinations either prior to or within 18months of date of hire.Experience:
performing research and statistical analysis to complete assignments
PC software applications (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
Knowledge and Skills:
