Description Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill an Accounts Receivable Specialist role in Minden. The AR Specialist processes and monitors incoming payments, and secures revenue by verifying and posting receipts. The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Controller, and works closely with Customer Service, Sales, and Shipping departments to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

The person in this role is responsible for:

Processing: Accurately and timely process invoices, credits, and deposits. Reconciliation: Reconcile and review customer statements, following up on open items regularly to ensure accounts are current. Customer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with customers to keep accounts updated and address any issues promptly. Month-End Close: Prepare month-end close activities, including reconciliation of accounts receivable and journal entry processing. Record Keeping: Maintain appropriate digital files for accounts receivable. Deadlines: Ensure all processing, reporting, and project deadlines are consistently met.

Qualified candidates will have strong technology skills including at least intermediate proficiency in Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets from scratch; Strong analytical and mathematical skills; strong communication skills and at least 2-3 years of Accounts Receivable experience.
