Boyer Trucks is looking for a Heavy-Duty Used Truck Sales Manager that wants to make a difference in the industry. The ideal candidate will be a highly successful Sales Person/Manager looking to make an immediate impact. The Selling Sales Manager will be responsible for working the sales floor, in addition to leading the sales team. Retail and commercial sales success is critical. Recruit and train new sales staff on all products sold. Evaluate/appraise all used light duty trucks and put values for trade in process. Communicate with team to find quality used light duty trucks throughout the United States for purchase and resell. Oversee all ordered and in-stock inventory at location. Meet regularly with Light Duty Management team on inventory, sales and market trends. Set standards for displaying, merchandising, and maintaining vehicles Ensure we remain competitive in the market. Attend selected trade shows. Provide customer support visits. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Used Truck Operations and Vice President. REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: High school diploma or equivalent. Valid Driver's License and MVR in good standing. 5-7 years of Sales Management Experience. Ability to travel overnight. High energy with ability to lead, motivate and train sales teams. Basic computer skills are a requirement. Excellent customer service skills. Excellent verbal and communication skills. Detail oriented. Ability to successfully complete a General Abilities Assessment and pass post-offer background check, physical and drug screening. WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Requires frequent sitting, standing, balancing, bending or stooping for prolonged periods of time. Ability to communicate by providing verbal / written feedback in a professional manner. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator and other office equipment. Ability to receive and analyze data and input into the computer. Perform ride alongs with potential buyers. Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Climbing in and out of vehicles. Occasional stooping and bending. Ability to lift/push/pull up to 45 lbs. Normal range of hearing and vision.
