Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose:
Perform general accounts receivable duties 5 days per week.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Average Percent
of Time
35 % Administer activities of accounts receivables including billing of accounts, preparation and mailing of statements, posting of payments, advanced deposits and refunds.
35 % Monitor, verify and balance daily postings of room, food and beverage and other charges to proper accounts.
20 % Answer billing inquiries and resolve guest disputes in a timely manner.
5 % Preparing month end reconciliation process, prepare and distribute required hotel and corporate reports
5 % Assisting in collection process of all accounts; current and outstanding
SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company.
Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees and management
Assist office in any other administrative duties as needed
Other duties as assigned
OTHER DUTIES
Assimilate into The FLIK Platinum Service culture through understanding, supporting and participating in all elements of FLIK Platinum Service. Demonstrate working knowledge of the service standards.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Flik from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.

Team members will be trained in the proper use and care of assigned PPE. The hotel provides the required PPE. It is your responsibility to report defective, damaged, or lost PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly to your Manager.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and standard accounting procedures
Basic mathematical skills and ability to operate 10-key calculator
Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly and positive manner
Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to understand and communicate with employees and guests
Knowledge of computers and typing skills
QUALIFICATION STANDARDS
EDUCATION
High School diploma required
College degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years accounting or hotel front desk/reservations experience. Prior hotel accounting experience preferred. Opera experience a plus.

None required.
GROOMING
All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance (specific standards available).

Must be detail oriented and a team player
