Description If you're looking for Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk work, we have a job opening for a self-starting and detail-oriented candidate! This is a short-term contract / temporary Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Tucson, Arizona area. As part of their duties, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. 　　Review status of delinquent accounts daily and initiate collection action by contacting customers

　　Help resolve payment issues by contacting clients, assist in setting up payment plans

　　Square bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in diverse ledgers

　　Present information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders

　　Process payments and compile segments of annual reports and monthly closings in compliance with GAAP

　　Corroborate documents and codes

　　Complete a wide range of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks Requirements - Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　Skilled with ERP systems

　　Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

　　Observant, accurate and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field

　　Established analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
