Designer Drafter - AutoCAD, Architectural, Structural & MEP - Wooster, OH - JOB 23-00412Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/HR Permanent Position with BenefitsA consulting firm is seeking to hire a Designer Drafter to work on a variety of facility projects doing Architectural, Structural & MEP work.REQUIREMENTS• Associate degree in Architectural Drafting or another related field.• Seeking candidates with 2 years of design drafting experience.• Must be capable of preparing construction drawings from architect, engineer and/or client sketches in commercial and residential design.• Basic knowledge of project workflow. Pre-design through permit acquisition.• Experience with Architectural design concepts, practices, construction documents and procedures.• Able to do foundation plans, floor plans, equipment plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, interior details, MEP drawings, etc.• Able to generate construction and/or bid documents, shop drawings.• Able to go out and do field measure of existing buildings.• Must be proficient with AutoCAD. Revit is a plus.• MS Office; Word & Excel proficient• Proficient in different construction types and detailing for pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, and conventional framed buildings.• Typical projects will be commercial, manufacturing, warehousing, hospitality, office and retail.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.Only U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Due to the large amount of resumes we expect to receive only the most qualified candidates will be contacted.
