Description If you're looking for Accounts Receivable (A/R) Clerk work, we have a job opening for a self-starting and detail-oriented candidate! This is a long-term contract / temporary to hire Accounts Receivable Clerk position and is based in the Tolleson, Arizona area. We are looking for candidates ready to enter, post and reconcile batches, research and resolve customer A/R issues, prepare aging report, place billing and collection calls, maintain cash receipts journal, update, and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L. Candidates looking for career growth potential and who are capable of processing 200+ invoices per week will be best fit for this position.

　　Major responsibilities

　　Compile segments of monthly closings and annual reports and take care of payments in compliance with GAAP

　　Perform a variety of basic accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures, including general accounting tasks

　　Provide information, as requested to shippers, customers, the sales/marketing department and other stakeholders

　　Communicate, reinforce, and support the values, culture, and mission of the organization

　　Test documents and codes

　　Contact clients to help resolve payment issues; assist in setting up payment plans

　　Identify delinquent customer accounts through various means, e.g. skip-tracing, written correspondence, phone contact, and making arrangements for payment

　　Settle bank accounts, posting and balancing financial data in a variety of ledgers Requirements - General proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel preferred

　　Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy

　　2+ years of relevant experience in accounts receivable

　　Skilled with ERP systems

　　Attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

　　Knowledge of batching

　　Cash applications experience desired

　　AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field desired
