Job Summary: In this role you have the opportunity to become an integral member of the Production Team for the Mission Systems Displays Group, a leading provider of mission-critical avionics and display system solutions. Job Responsibility: The Assembly Technician uses their skills to produce high quality electronic products with accuracy and attention to detail. Main responsibilities will include but not limited to: * Assemble Mercury products in accordance with documented work instructions to ensure the units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements. * Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement. * Interpret assembly drawings and process flow instructions. * Must be trained across all assembly stages. * Work under minimal supervision. * Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals. * Resolve most questions and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher levels. * Identify quality and reliability issues and submit recommendations for improvements. * Develop personal goals and objectives for continuous improvement in support of Company and Department goals and objectives * Maintain workplace organization. Required Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Two (2) years prior electronic assembly experience required. * Basic computer skills including Word and Excel * Regular, predictable attendance is required. * Must be willing to work overtime as necessary. * Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment. Preferred Qualifications: * Vocational school or secondary education in electronics technology. * Aerospace/Aviation experience.
