  What will you be doing and how will you make a difference at American Senior Communities?

  Making a difference in the lives of the residents we serve by providing them care and compassionActing as a positive teammate to fellow employees by helping onboard new teammatesResponsible for data entry of accounts receivable, bank deposits, reconciliation, and resident trustPerforms data entry for ancillary, therapy, hair care and other charges, along with the necessary data entry of trust activity, which at times may involve issuing checksMaintains resident business files and assists with month-end processing and billingCompletes and transmits all Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance, VA billings and private statements, adjusting resident accounts as necessaryRequirements

  Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or, one or more years related experience and/or training; or, equivalent combination of education and experienceMust have knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations including billing guidelinesMust have knowledge of Veterans and insurance billing guidelinesMust be proficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelMust be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and organize accordinglyMust be familiar with UB04We are Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran and other protected categories.
