We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist for an open-ended contract role working 20-24 hours per week on-site. You’ll support our Senior Accountant with key accounting tasks while ensuring vendors are paid accurately and on time.

This is an immediate, urgent support position that is PART-TIME. You will be working on-site 20-24 hours per week. If you are seeking a part-time A/P role, please apply!

Responsibilities:

· Process invoices, including matching, batching, and coding.

· Maintain vendor information in our accounting system.

· Verify daily meal logs against vendor invoices.

· Manage accounts payable emails and process expense reimbursements.

· Support the senior accountant in handling accounts payable.

· Execute matching, batching, and coding invoices accurately.

· Maintain an understanding of chart of accounts and different allocations.

· Manage the maintenance of vendor contacts information in our accounting software system.

· Enter vendor bills into the accounting software system diligently.

· Perform electronic filing of vendor invoices.

· Efficiently manage the accounts payable email inbox.

· Verify and confirm daily meal logs against vendor invoice to ensure proper billing of vendors for meals serviced.

· Process expense reimbursements, including mileage, cash vouchers, and petty cash.

· Ensure light accounts payable duties are carried out on a daily basis.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is required

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is needed

• Demonstrated ability to manage comprehensive Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) procedures is crucial

• Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is beneficial
