Shift: Varies between 6:30am to 11:00pm, Sunday through Saturday. Minimum 5 rotating days including weekends and holidays. Duties: Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services; ensure prompt and courteous service to guests; Answer telephone calls and process phone orders; greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus, answering dining related questions, and suggest food and beverage items; take food and beverage orders, relay orders to kitchen, and serve food to guests; coordinate amenity delivery request in connection with the kitchen department; monitor tables in assigned section ensuring all guests are served; address guest complaints; collect and process guest payments;total receipts at end of shift to verify sales and clear cash register;ensure tips are reported properly for tax processing; clear dirty table settings and preparetablefor resetting;maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments; inspect dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness; assistservicestaff as necessary to service guests in a timely manner; assist in the Banquets department with large groups, including set-up and end of shift clean-up. Requirements: 3 months experience in position; Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. Able to bend and squat repeatedly. Able to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift . On the job training provided. Rate of Pay: $13.39 per hour plus service charge and tips. Employer guarantees hourly rate will not fall below prevailing wage, $15.27/hour. O/T available paid at $22.91/hour, unless exempt from O/T under Section 7(i) of the FLSA. One free meal when working scheduled shift. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly by check. All deductions from the workers paycheck required by law will be made. Employer will provide workers, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. H2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Receipt must be provided for reimbursement. Air transportation to the place of employment will be provided by the employer at no cost to the worker (air travel paid upfront); Ground expenses and subsistence costs will be reimbursed to the worker during the 1st work week. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a max. of $59.00 per day with receipts. If the worker does not complete at least half of the employment period the worker is expected to refund the employer. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. Shared, subsidized housing provided. Housing is optional, if elected, cost at approx. $100 per week to be paid directly to landlord. $75.00 security deposit required payable directly to the landlord. Optional daily transport between company housing and worksite provided. If elected, cost of transport at approx. $20 per week will be deducted bi-weekly from payroll.
